I’ve Been off this crap for about two and half weeks now. I almost wound up in the emergency room the next day after deciding to stop taking propecia. I had a couple of drinks before going out with some friends and started to feel sick during the drive (two hours after my last drink) felt disoriented, week, hot head, fever like symptoms, severe pain in chest, difficulty breathing, hot flashes(where your body feels so hot you need to get but ass naked), heart palpitations, panic attack symptoms, and felt like i going to pass out. Had to have my friend drive me back home and i was terrified! I actually thought I had suffered from a heart attack.
Now, I’m going through lot’s of stress right now (mom has cancer, broke up with girl of 7 years, unemployed in this useless economy and my dad just lost his job)
Still having breathing problems every day and odd irregular head pressures.
*Had recent blood tests done: everything checked out fine, except for a *low blood potassium count.
Anyone out there had a low blood potassium count?
Also, what can help with my daily breathing problems and chest pain?
Been to my doc, and she recommends that i take zoloft…but I’m concerned that this may “mask the REAL problem”
In my humble opinion, this drug may have severely increased my stress/anxiety response to the point where breathing becomes extremely difficult. It may be a problem that is linked to the brain’s reaction to the potency of this drug and the central nervous system, or a possible rejection of the drug by my body’s response. I remember taking celexa(for fun) before havin sex with my girl, and within an hour i was drenched with sweat, i turned pale, lost my eye sight for a about two minutes, heart was racing violently and thought i was going to pass out.
My doctor has said it could be that my blood vessels are highly sensitive to expansion by any chemical means.
Any feedback or help would be much appreciated! Thanks.
