It’s interesting that there is research coming out indicating a link between an RP and getting Peyronie’s.
Given that it’s already been speculated that the size changes many undergo are due to cell death or aptosis similar to an RP, it seems more feasible that for those of us getting fibrosis or plaques it’s due to some form of prostate damage when we quit. This is particularly true if you had a recovery period of normal erection strength and frequency followed by an abrupt crash with penile damage; hypoxia or low T doesn’t explain this almost immediate transformation.

Peyronie’s Disease Following Radical Prostatectomy: Incidence and Predictors
‘Men presenting with sexual dysfunction after RP have higher PD incidence then the general population. Therefore, they should be routinely evaluated for PD. Younger men and men of white race are at increased risk for PD.’

Peyronie’s Disease and Radical Prostatectomy: Is There a Link?
'In a new study, led by Jarow and Patrick C. Walsh, M.D., that will include 100 patients, 3 out of 64 radical prostatectomy patients so far have developed “rapid appearance of new-onset Peyronie’s disease” after surgery, says Jarow. "This sounds very low. But if you compare that to the incidence of Peyronie’s disease in the general population, it’s 1,000-fold greater. ’
Wonder how much higher incidence of PD there is among propecia users.
