Has ANYONE been able to recover their libido?
It seems strange that even people who have fully recovered penis function to still suffer from a lack of libido.

Libido comes from so many factors - the brain (CNS), prolactin levels, testosterone levels etc etc. Realligning all these things is no easy feat.
Pfs is definitely progressive. It took me five years to get to the negative point that I’m at. I continue to get worse. My libido was the last thing I completely lost. I wonder why it took so long. I really wish we had an answer to this problem because I’m so damn tired of living my life like this. Ed, insomnia, and dull emotions. What a life.
I was able to restore my libido a number of times post crash. Keep in mind I have used tons of supplements as well as TRT with ZERO improvements in libido…Dymatize Z-Force is the ONLY thing that worked…and it made me feel like a raging horny 18 year old again…4 caps a night
First time - took about 2-3 weeks to start working,…worked for 2-3 months
I used it about 5-6 different times from then on…each time needing to cycle it with longer “off periods”…also noticed that each cycle it wouldnt work as long. Now I am to the point where it doesnt do anything to me anymore…but maybe add a tad nipple puffyness.
No idea if it was the trib. or the l dopa working on me…but whatever it was…it was amazing.
Here is whats in it…it has been discontinued lately tho
Moonman that’s a good combination of substances and very similar to what I take.
The NAC (which i dont take) is interesting as its an ingredient in many heavy metal detox kits.
i had improvements by time, but libido is still low since 3 yrs
Can you get a normal erection? Does your penis seem like it was pre-fin soft and erect?
in this period yes, but who knows if lasts
however penis girth seems stable
How long has it been this way?
Have you been improving erection/penis wise throughout the last few years? Are things at least improving with time with no setbacks?
just in the last yr
i have setbacks but penis size “seems” lasting
have a look to my story
I want to clarify that when people say low libido, I assume they can have a normal pre-fin erection, but they just don’t have the horny urge to have sex?
If I’m understanding correctly, it seems like the last part would be psychological. Maybe fin damaged/downregulated some neurosteroid receptors.
No most people here cant get a pre fin erection (size, strength, duration, throbbingness).
Loss of libido is the most universal symptom on this board, its a gimmie for a pfs sufferer.
I couldnt have sex without pharama help regardless of my libido, many on this board are the same.
There is nothing psycololgical about the type of erectile dysfunction we suffer from.
2 part it’s more neurological
there r studies on neurosteroid that show fina damages
everyone have different sides but in a very clear categories
Shit. Has anyone been able to return to pre-fin erections without the aid of drugs?
yes but not much
have a look in recovery section
Libido is fairly easy to recover, at least in my case - but it’s hard to stabilize. According to my experience it’s controlled by DHT, the testosterone/estrogen ratio, and the dopamine/prolactin ratio. I use Dostinex to deplete the prolactin level, and then move on to a low dose of Arimidex to adjust the testosterone/estrogen ratio, and Andractim to raise the DHT level. DHT is explosive when your testosterone/estrogen ratio is optimal, and the prolactin level is low.
Consider your self an anomaly for someone with this condition then and very lucky. I am at 0% Libido.
I didn’t have any libido either, before I began using treatments.
How much of each do you use, and how often?
I’m on TRT. I’m injecting 50 mg TE twice a week, in my thighs. No exception. I’m experimenting with Arimidex, Andractim and Dostinex based on symptoms. Arimidex is very potent, and hard to dose correctly, but my typical dose is 0.25 or 0.5 mg when I feel that my estrogen level is too high. It’s easy to overdose, and it causes some heavy sexual side effects as well, so I’m therefore trying to get hold of some Proviron. I use 0.25 mg Dostinex when I notice improvement from Arimidex, because estrogen increases the prolactin level. I only notice effects from Andractim when the testosterone/estrogen ratio is close to optimal. I don’t use much of the gel.
