yes. when your FHS and LH are low nothing to stimulate your Testicles and they will not churn out any thing.
if you are on TRT like Androgel you will have the same thing because your LH and FSH are supressed.
why are you asking this you have been here for long time.
The colour and texture of your semen is more to do with your prostrate and seminal vessels
The sperm, produced by the testicles, is actually transparent.
Testosterone, well DHT in fact, stimulates the prostrate. Lack of it or excess of estrogen can cause problems. Inflammation in the prostrate, shrinkage etc, will cause changes in semen also. These factors are more at play than FSH and LH.
Tbh id be more surprised if my/our sperm counts haven’t went down.
But an article saying it’s a shortcut to infertility is a bit unfounded and, if anything, it undermines the legitimacy of things by it’s reckless approach.
But you can’t make such a strong worded article without even one source of any kind. If anything, it undermines our cause because it doesn’t attract any credibility.
The strange thing about mine is if i wait weeks to ejaculate, it comes out really clear but with a really dark overall tint to it…
Also, on it’s way out it just feels uncomfortable, like the kind of feeling I get when I used to pee when my body was fighting a fever, like i’m excreting something toxic
For the next few days after that, after cranking out a few more loads with similar composition, my semen will begin to thicken up and get whiter, and i’ll usually go through a period where I generally feel better
Has anyone ever gotten a positive result from checking their semen for infection?
By the way, the thick part of your semen is from the seminal vesicles and the watery and transparent is from the prostate. So if your semen is watery, your seminal vesicles aren’t working properly or your prostate secretion has increased. If it’s thick, your prostate isn’t working properly and the seminal vesicle secretion part is dominating. If it’s yellow, then it’s probably an infection and you should see a doctor immediately. By the way, hyperviscosity of the semen is a bad thing and means infertility. Watery is healthier than thick.
If we could measure the exact components of the semen, we could say which part of the semen is missing with a confidence. Low Zn (norm is 95–175 μg/ml) for example would reflect problems in the prostate, low fructose (normal is 2–5 mg/ml) indicates lack of seminal vesicle secretion. These tests shouldn’t be very difficult to arrange. Zinc and fructose are very known molecules.
I still haven’t found out what contributes to the strength of the emission the most and what could finasteride have damaged.
I think it rather leaves a scar in the seminal vesicles, because taking Zn which impacts the prostate doesn’t change a thing. If you want more viscose semen, as a matter of fact, you should avoid Zn, because low Zn is associated with viscose semen. ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3017327/
Btw, I tested Zn, fructose and alpha-glucosidase in the seminal plasma. They are all perfectly in range, though, semen still is a bit watery and smaller in amount.
Why am I the only one paying attention to semen? Everybody else cured?
Mine has been fluctuating pretty wildly. It’s never gone back to being 100% clear and watery like while on Fin, but it hasn’t gotten 100% back to normal either. It kind of hovers in this middle area where sometimes it’s thicker and more cloudy than other times. I haven’t been able to pinpoint what causes it to fluctuate, it doesn’t seem to be influenced by anything I’m doing. I guess it’s just the body working things out. Although honestly what my semen looks like is at the very low end of my PFS concerns.
