Let's talk about crashes - prevention, timeline, prediction, etc

Hi there,

Been off of my topical fin for the past ~3 weeks and wanted to talk about crashes. Seems there’s some info scattered throughout here, but not much.

From what I can tell crashes seem to follow a fairly predictable pattern for most, but not all, people. Many tend to exhibit significant changes, feelings often reported as “110%”, after a week or two off the drug. The crash comes after for those that experience it - typically at night, causing people to wake up and feel terrible… sweats, no libido, physical changes, etc. After this healing tends to happen for many but not all in an up and down pattern over several weeks, months, or years.

Many suggest tapering off slowly can help avoid crashes. As can avoiding caffeine, alcohol, drugs, etc. Eating healthy, exercising, avoiding stress, avoiding masturbation, and sleeping 8 hours can also seem to help - some members also suggested iodine, various supplements, etc.

Has anyone else seen any other information here we could consolidate? Seems 2 weeks is the agreed upon timeline for a majority of crashes, but some have scarily reported they can sneak up at one month to years later… so we may not know if we’re in the clear even after 2 weeks.

Anyone have any inputs they’d like to add here? I know the crash is one of the scariest things for those of us just coming off the drug - I’m always anxious I’m going to experience one at any moment and am thankful that I (don’t think) I have just yet.
