Here in the US, it’s July 4th. Benjamin Franklin famously said:

As it happens, I have survived FOUR extremely serious suicide attempts and entirely recovered naturally from worst-case scenario PFS (except extraordinary sleep dysfunction) after 2.5 traumatic years. Alan unfortunately has persistent severe ED.
But I’m Exhibit A that “PFS recovery is NOT impossible” - see my prior threads - so I urge everyone to “hang in there” and perhaps YOU may recover wholly or partially.
