Does anyone have an idea why some of us pfs sufferers are no longer able to produce much or any earwax? I’ve been off the drug for years now and this is still a problem for me. Tried looking up other conditions that could cause limited earwax production but I was unable to find anything.
I have the opposite, I create a ton of earwax.
So is it safe to say there really isn’t a correlation between pfs and earwax? Or are most of us dealing with too little earwax rather then an abundance or normal amount even?
OMG really? Lack of earwax? Cmon, lets get serious.
Just curious if there’s a connection here buddy no need to be saucy.
You’re right. I apologize.
3 years ago I went to the Dr. because of excessive ear wax in my left ear. In the past 8 months I noticed that I now hardly produce any wax at all, furthermore I’ve developed a strange itch in both my ear canals…looked it up, could be related to an allergy.
Guessing here but potentially reduced sebum production? Related to less oily skin. Seems to be androgen related.
My skin can still def get oily. Esp if i’m eating poorly. Can still get small breakouts as well. Still very little earwax though. Wonder if a build up of earwax could potentially be my problem?
Yes, I’ve noticed a definite reduction in ear wax. I used to clean with Qtips once a week. Now it’s like once a month and I STILL don’t see much wax on the Q’s.
And I’m 95% recovered. 5 years since quit fin, 2 years since actively doing all the protocols, vits, supps, meds, gym, diets, cleanse etc…
At least the tinnitus is much less.
Still have occasional watery semen and ED still pops up (or not) occasionally. Normal for 49 I guess.
Oh, BTW, I just got engaged to my 28 year old HOT girlfriend today.
She knows all about my PFS struggle, but fortunately she met me after I was nearly recovered. The sex is phenomenal, and often.
There’s hope guys! Just keep working at it and hit PFS from all sides like a MMA fighter.
congrats on your recent engagement mayor. Nice to meet someone that you can share you’re vulnerabilities with and accept you for them I bet. Btw what do you think the reasoning is behind the lack of earwax for some of us? Kind of hard to figure out how this can tie into pfs or any other possible ailments for that matter. The only thing I can possibily think of an earwax build up that is preventing earwax from showing up on the qtip?
Also I’d like to ask what were your main symptoms of pfs were and what in the recovery protocol has helped the most?
Thanks
I’d say that if there were a correlation, then I’d look at a sebum decrease due to reduced production of the sebaceous glands in the ear canal.
