kind of broccoli

Hi everybody,

i am going to start broccoli treatment… i go for buy broccoli in the vegetable shop… and they ask me: what kind of broccoli do you want?
:astonished:

and so i ask to you: what kind of broccoli i have to use in the broccoli treatment? :unamused:

Thank you very much…

As it says right on the Brocolli Treatment site:

prostatitis.org/broccindex.html

“You use the woody stalk (base of the plant) and also use the flowering portion of the plant for the preparation.”

Make sure you follow the instructions! Good luck, let us know if you have any improvement.

thank you mew; i wasn’t talking about the base of the plant or the flowering portion…i write the question because in the vegetable shop they say me there are more kind of broccoli, but i don’t read on the web site of the treatment what kind of broccoli i have to use… :unamused:
i hope every kind of broccoli is useful fot the treatment

way,
the ‘normal’ green variety is fine. if you can get ‘organic’ i found this better (the plants are actually a bit denser). Purple broccoli seems to work as well, although i have heard that broccoli 'sprouts are even more potent.

ah ok! thank you…
i hope with the treatment i will feel better
(soon i will post my story [in a bad english :unamused: ])

2nd day of broccoli treatment: i stop finasteride in 2003 and today is the first day that i feel so good (very high libido, very high quality of the erection) …it is incredible, i feel normal :open_mouth: … it’s a placebo effect? i hope no…
(the erection is better than when i took viagra)

i’ve read about the user reason, that have notice good effects during the treatment but every week of the treatment less; i’ve also read (on the old mailing list) about a user that was fully recovered after broccoli treatment… can somebody remeber the name of this user?

way,
john coleman had good results - see the old site.

For me the broccoli treatment seemed to help to tip the testosterone/ estrogen ratio slightly in my favour.
Although subsequent treatments were less successful, this trend is still improving gradually over time (just had 2 Great days, no supplements at all).

thanks…
and have you conserved the testosterone /estrogen ratio in your favour after the treatment or all the benefits vanished after the end of the treatment?

i am waiting for latest test results, in next few days, but generally feel better. ‘Mental’ issues have all gone - no anxiety, and at work i am as sharp as i was 10 years ago (others have noticed this too!!).
sexual sides improving gradually (ED almost completely eliminated, but still sometimes slow to start; libido climbing gradually).
Also, have some small physical changes that i hadn’t realised had disappeared for the last 15 months (slight sweating in the palms from time to time, areas around my face that used to be a little greasy before and hair loss again (bring it on !!!))

Im in the same situation as reason by now. About a month ago I have been taking just zinc (100mg daily), and little by little I have been noticing improvements.

After two years of fighting, I can say that almost all issues are gone. Very little ED, libido is increasing, and concentration is at its full.

No diet whatsoever, I eat what I want. Diet may help, but I discovered that if you take it very seriously then it can be even harmful, because you are constantly expecting changes in your wellbeing and that causes you stress and even more depression. Therefore instead of recovering you do the oppositte.

Take my advice, body heals really on its own, but it takes a really long time. Healthy diet can be helpful but not in a very strict way, since it could cause symptoms to worsen.

My experience with all this shit is:

first.- be patient and optimistic. We have to think that this can be reversed. We have to believe in that, because to believe the contrary is destructive.

second.- take some vit B, C, and Zinc (at least in my case).

third.- expect to have some good days, followed by longer periods of bad ones. Slowly this will reverse, and after time, you will have more good days and less bad ones.

Best luck.

John,
similar situations i believe.
I also am less pedantic about my diet now - I eat healthily but am not obsessed. I cut down on caffeine and alcohol but not sure this gives a notable lift.

The only supplement I am taking now is zinc (between 15mg and 45mg per day). But i have noticed an interesting phenomenon. When I stop for a couple of days my libido lifts - after stopping on Wednesday, it was at a record high on Friday, but then fell back down again !!

Have you tried the broccoli treatment again? - for me it gave ‘diminishing returns’, not sure if it moved me a little bit forward overall or just gave a temporary boost.

My beard growth is notably stronger every day, even when my libido is lower so guess parts of my system are getting stronger…

in my case, almost everything returns to normal when I take daily zinc (about 50mg). That means that my libido is high but also my hairloss, and that sucks. So since my erections are great again and libido is pretty much ok, I have decided to lower zinc and mantain my hair.

Im recovering every month, now I know for sure, so Im not worried at all anymore about my sex future. Im flirting with girls again and can function with no problem in bed. However, I know that if I take zinc in a daily basis, libido increases a lot. And knowing that keeps my calm.

.

I do believe that the broccoli treatment probably works, though I haven’t tried it. But I found that, right before the $#!+ hit the fan when I was on finasteride, I was craving cruciferous vegetables like mad (broccoli, yes, but I have always loved broccoli and cauliflower so I didn’t find that odd. But I started to get incredible urges for brussels sprouts at all times of the day.)

I haven’t tried the broccoli treatment, because it seems like it would be somewhat expensive and difficult to maintain, and I don’t want to get burnt-out on broccoli. However, I plan on trying DIM pills which are derivded from broccoli, brussels sprouts, etc. into the extract which causes metabolism of estrogen.

I posted about it here:
