Hey, i know there are cases here that got pfs through minoxidil (oral or topical) but how is it with ketoconazol only ? do anyone know if it also have an effect on the AR ? Im just wondering because my dermatologist recommended it me for fungal diseases. Thank you very much!
Fin gave me PFS but I could still get great erections using pde5i. 5 years after I got PFS I started using ketoconazol shampoo and got shrinkage at that time. Now my erections are inadequate for sex even with high dose pde5i.
I’m not entirely sure if it’s ketoconazol or I’d simply gotten worse with time but if I were you I wouldn’t risk using it, maybe consider an alternative instead.

Ketoconazole/ nizoral is both a 5ar inhibitor as well as an anti-androgen. There is no reason to believe that it can not cause PFS. I have used it a few times topically and it definitely makes me feel worse. Best to stay away from it.
