He stood before the FDA to justify this stuff being used as a hair loss treatment, minimised the risks and extent of side effects by pushing the laughable <2% get sexual sides lie, said nothing of permanent risks, omitted the existence of multiple other side effects etc etc.
At that time in the late 1990s he was āsenior director of clinical research in endocrinology and metabolismā so Iām guessing he had a pretty good idea of what this stuff really could do to a man, even if you accept the idea that he had no knowledge of permanent sides.
Meanwhile, propecia has made Merck $400 million profits per year since being lunched. Kaufman? Heās now the companyās Vice President.
