I didn’t listen to the whole thing but it seems fairly reasonable to me. Acknowledges that PFS exists, I think he may be right about DHT not being directly responsible for muscle growth, and focuses more on disruption of 5AR on the neurosteroid side as being the cause of PFS vs. DHT.
I didn’t really bother to try to figure out the hormone based science for this ever because I believe its all too complex for our current scientific paradigm and mode of thinking. Our central nervous system is constantly and persistently rewiring itself as we get exposure to stimuli in our environment. Fin depletes neurosteroids that are critical to facilitate neuroplasticity process and it could be like a bomb goes off if certain environmental stimuli while taking finasteride. It’s why I think PFS and the others share similarities to PTSD which I think can heal without drugs but is very difficult to do so.
It would make it extremely difficult to find a clear and shared biomarker among PFS patients even if the human body is impaired and weakened in the same with as a result of taking fin.
