It's my story.....

Hi Everybody,

first of all, sorry for my english…I’m italian and I’m not fluent in english.

I’m 35 years hold and I took Propecia for 10 years and I never had any particular problem (just watery sperm).

Two weeks ago I quit Propecia due to the fact that I didn’t have time to go to buy it.
But after one week I start to feel light pain in my prostate and urethra…so I suspect that it’s related to Propecia, and after reading this forum, I’m sure it is.

I thank you all, for your support and I’ll report here my experience.

  4. Tell us your story, in your own words, about your Finasteride usage and side effects experienced while on/off the drug. look up

I am still amazed when someone turns up having taken finasteride for over 5 years with no real problems and yet when they quit, side effects occur.

Cicciuz, how severe would you say your condition is? at two weeks off the drug there is every chance that you will recover in good time. Some guys on here ‘crashed’ after drinking a lot of alcohol, some ‘crashed’ after very frequent masturbation so it’s probably a good idea to avoid both of those. Aside from that, book an appointment with your GP, try to get some exercise and eat healthily and see how things develop.

Hopefully you will be OK in good time.

Hi Bluecloud87, thank you for your suggest and support.

During these last two days, the situation seems to be better, it’s no more a real pain but just a nuisance.
But I really have the sensation that I have to pay attention otherwise it could become worse easily (I think you are right, I have to avoid alcol and stress in general).

Anyway, I book a visit with my urologist.

Thank you again, I’ll write when I have the results.

ciao.
