Is it possible to get rid of abdominal fat due to excess E2?

One of the side-effects that I got from Finasteride is abdominal fat due to high Estrogen. I am planning to start working out soon, do you think it’s possible to get rid off from this abdominal fat with a good diet and working out?

Yes get a body fat measuring scale, lift weights so you don’t lose muscle, and eat fewer calories than you burn. It’s that simple. Forget about the hormones. I guarantee you it’s 95% in your head. Not the levels but their effects on you. I speak as someone who has had all kinds of experience with severely abnormal hormone levels from medical conditions.

Just eat less than you burn and lift weights to retain muscle. Do not overthink. You will go crazy.

Multiple factors here. Your E2 is in dominance, you likely arent getting androgen endproducts made (AR silencing), your cortisol is either too high or too low. All of these are going to lead to visceral fat accumulation.

I have this and perfect hormones…Whatever mech causing this weight gain in pfs it’s not estrogen or atleast in my case.

I have fat on belly as well as hips, thighs, chest

My upper abdominal fat seems to be the most notable. For some reason it can disappear quite quickly then returns within a couple of days. When on propecia it was a permanent fixture. I believe it’s dht related! Additionally when I get rare uplifts, some return of masculinity it disappears.

That’s interesting, I noticed fairly recently that I felt I looked more recognisably me in the mirror but I couldn’t really perceive why, or what had changed. Later on my girlfriend said I looked good, but wasn’t able to say why.

I assume it was something like what you’re talking about.
