Is it possible after 4.5 months symptoms can return (sexual)?

Is it possible that after that after four and a half months these symptoms can return (sexual)? Let me preface this by saying I have been taking viagra recreationally during this time and this past weekend was drinking in excess and smoking a lot.

On Mondy morning I felt a lessening on libido although I did masturbate as well as a loss of erections during the day. I almost had a nervous breakdwon yesterday due to this and othere stresses in my life.

Do you think this is a consequence of that or a propecia issue. I haven’t taken the drug since March 30 of this year and felt 100% by April 16 of this year? Thank you for your insight.

Hi mikey,

Some sufferers experience a quick recovery shortly after ceasing of medication. But then, for reasons unknown, this effect vanishes after a couple weeks. I am not saying this is you case, just saying yes it is possible. Testing your hormones could be helpful.

I was 2 months off when sexual sides started coming back and progressively they have gotten worse, now at 7months off.

I have been fluctuating back and forth, a few weeks ago after a trip to see my girlfriend and sex 5 of the 8 days I had a total crash which I’m still not recovered from. Yes, I think it is possible.

What did that crash feel like? It seems like when I “crash” it happens during drinking binges and I can’t cope with this, its very hard. I don’t know if I can attribute this to propecia or drinking and smoking but I’ve been having less sponatneous erections and harder to masturbate…

The crash feels like total exhaustion. No good feelings, at all, really I feel nothing but tired. During this time I typically notice that the frank and beans shrink and it takes a while for them to come back, activity provides no good feelings. It’s like all the power in you is sapped and you just have to wait for it to come back like a car running too lean on fuel.

How are you feeling now? What are you feeling from day to day? I am deathly afraid that this might be related to propecia. It seems odd becasue I was feeling great for FIVE fucking moinths…it just seems like such a looong time

For those of you whose symptoms have returned (sexual) after a period of felling normal again, how long after your normal phase did sexual symptoms return??

Mine have somewhat returned after FIVE months of felling 100%?!!

My symptoims now include lack of sponataneous erections and nocturnal not as hard. I can masturbate just fine and my dick is 100% hard when I do but my desire to do so is lessened.

I have been self mediactin the last two weeks with alcohol as well and have some emotional/life issues I am dealing with and am just trying to pinpoint the reason for all of this. Awaiting blood test result today… Thank you.

Get off the sauce – it lowers T production, increases Estradiol, and impairs erectile function.

This happenes to me when I mess with alcohol more than once in a long while. Cut out the self meds and eat good foods, meat and root vegetables, fruits, etc, no breads sugars caffeine. Give it a few weeks to a month. and no beer at all
