When I first lost my libido, I felt that my hair wasn’t falling out anymore either. But 13 months after quiting propecia, I have very low libido, but my hair is falling out rapidly. For the people with sexual dysfunction: is your hair falling out now that you stopped propecia, even though your sex drive remains low?
7 months off I think my loss has slowed very slightly (but I have basically lost my penis so couldnt care less about my hair mate).

I went through the stage of total hairloss blockage. It was soon after I quit the poison. Lack of hairloss (even when you are MPB type of person) is the way your body manifest auto immune crash. Then after some months pass by your body tries to heal itself and seek the right balance, it works hard to reach proper homeostasis but it can’t due to auto immune disorder that remains.
Nevertheless it fights and certain extend of hairloss appears again but not as much as before. You are stuck with some hairloss then but the dry skin on your face usually remains due to the hormonal imbalance caused by the compromised immune system. Sex drive remains very low.
Hormonal downregulation remains, due to the poor interaction between hormons and receptors. Sebacious glands work in a compromised mode.
This is the period that I was stuck with for more then 2 next years still believing it was only about propecia. Right after that my condition worsen, I got paralized for a few seconds at night, could not sleep, became even more susceptible to foods and cosmetics.
Then I found the right doctor. Did chlamydia pneumoniae and mycoplasma tests.
Got back the results with ch pn IGG 5 times above positive range.
Soon after started antibiotic treatment to kill each ch pn stage that is fucking my whole body crushing my immune response, nervs, brain, muscules.
I started macrolid antibiotic treatment which is fighting against chronic ch pn stage. I took azitromycine and right now clarytromicine. Everything is getting back to normal. I regained most of my libido yet, fatigue is almost gone and I fight neurotoxic state that still remains while the bacteria are being killed.
I was proposed to use Gabapentin by my doctor to boost recovery of my immune system and to help antibiotics do their job but I rejected, just not to mess around with to many drugs.
I will post the whole recovery profile within some months.
Same - still have some hair loss, still have a very low libido. The latter is what drives me nuts.
