I called to inform my insurance company of the problems caused by Propecia. Insurance doesn’t cover Propecia obviously since it is for cosmetic purposes, but they do cover all the doctor visits, blood tests, etc. because of Propecia. It is in their best interest to instruct doctors not to prescribe this drug or to help get it off the market. The lady I spoke to was very attentive to what I had to say and had no idea about persistent side effects of this drug.
