Infectious Disease Doctors?

Has anyone on this site been seen by an infectious disease doctor? Do you think this would be a good idea?

in which way finasteride has to do with infectious disease?

They might be willing to look into an autoimmune type of treatment or antibody reaction happening in our bodies if true. They could possible be willing to many more bloodtest for these type of issues that could be occurring with us.

Check the following thread, which relates to long term use of systematic 5-alpha reductase (finasteride) and risk of immune disorders.

In most people, a biotoxin is ‘tagged’ and identified by the body’s immune system and is broken down and removed from the blood by the liver.
However if taking propecia has damaged our liver and/or altered our immune system, then our immune response genes (HLA-DR genes) may not be able to form an antibody to certain biotoxins.
Essentially, biotoxins in our body would not be ‘tagged’ and would remain in the body indefinitely and free to circulate and wreak havoc.

The following article explains how biotoxins can result in low MSH.

Note:
Low MSH effects sex hormone production, which is often down-regulated.
The pituitary may upregulate the production of cortisol and ACTH in the early stages of illness, then drop to abnormally low, or low-normal ranges later.

I Dont think thats a bad idea as i too want to see one of these docs to get tested for lyme disease which mimicks alot of fin sides and i was bitten by a tick once…
