Increased body hair 3 months after single 1mg dose

Hi, I posted here before about my taking 1mg of fin in mid-May and suspecting PFS.
Forgot to mention one important symptom, which is increased body hair.

I hadn’t noticed it before 2 weeks ago, but my body hair count has shot through the roof in the past 3 months. Before then I had relatively little body hair (half-Asian, 17, probably precocious puberty, first facial hair at 12/13?). My facial hair is also much denser, but only on the same patchy spots. Body hair is growing everywhere on my back, abdomen, even if only as tiny vellus hairs, but I’m absolutely terrified if they’ll also darken like the weak hairs that I had before taking fin. The hair on my arms/hands and legs seem to have grown either denser or darker or both and there are vellus hairs sprouting up everywhere.

Thankfully I’d taken some pictures with my body hair before fin so I can definitely say that it’s a marked difference. I don’t want to post them but I’d say they increased threefold (barely any hair > sudden appearance of dark, straggly hairs all over (especially arms), abdomen and chest somewhat covered (vellus hairs are everywhere), legs extremely hairy and hands fully covered by vellus hairs and terminals at edges and knuckles)

IF this is really about my hormones being permanently altered by fin and not temporary/just puberty, what the hell can I even do about this?

Being blunt and pragmatic, you could get it waxed or shave it off.

I guess it’s possible that you are experiencing some puberty changes and that the effect of finasteride is adding to the changes somehow.

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve found your way here so young, it must be very scary for you, it is for most of us, let alone as a teenager.

To be positive, I would assume with so many changes going on in your body at your age, there’s a good chance that you might find that things settle down with time alone.
