Inability to Deal with Stress

It it very difficult for me to deal with stress. When I get stressed out, my heart starts pounding, my body gets tense, shortness of breath, my mind slows down, and it is a bit overwhelming. I know that this is normal when a person gets stressed out, but not to this extent.

I think many of us have this symptom.

Its usually caused by lack of adrenal function, lack of thyroid hormon or lack of testosterone.

My major side effect one month after quiting is inability to deal with stress. My heart goes a little crazy some evenings between 9 and 12 pm.I did have rapid heartbeat(120) and some extrasystoles in my first two weeks, but now they are gone.I also observed some body temperature changes from 37 degrees celsius during day to 36.2 during night. Also I still have some high blood pressure(125/80 and decreasing) from an initial 150/100 right after quiting.
Things are getting better everyday.I took this crap for 11 month 1mg /day.
My sexual drive was low and now seems to be back to normal(hard woods every morning, but I had them from time to time even on last days of finasteride). My stress staff erupted after stoping the treatment like 4 days after.I was trembling ,my head was shakeing and my heart was tumbling.Coudln’t sleep until 12 pm when things got back to normal.

Did I tell you that my “panic attack” started after a sentimental breakdown and right after going to gym at 7 pm and doing some heavy lifting.

So in my opinion the first months after quiting finasteride everybody should avoid overtraining:no heavy lifting or things that makes your heart pump quickly. Also no coffee or alchool, not heavy stress cause all this will induce andrenal fatigue:tremble, rapid heart beat, shaking, headache, anxiety and it’s hard to come back to normal.

I did slow swimming and felt very good, but after doing some heavy swimming fast and got a mild panic attack from which I recovered in 2-3 days.

I presume if I continue pushing my strenght to the limit I can get a serious panic attack. The panic attacks are possible due to hormonal imbalances which occur after finasteride interruption.I think doctors in the ER room will no way find an Addisonian crisis.By the way brain fog is a symtom of adrenal fatigue mainly.

Jimmi, I don’t know your history with the drug because you haven’t posted a profile in the Members Story section (copy paste template at top of forum) but… you should get some bloodwork done as outlined on this site so you can see what your hormones are doing.

so how does Fin play a role in that?

I will do my bloodwork in january. That is the soonest I can.I will post my story.I quit this thing one month ago.
As for how does fin played a role in that?Well things were latent , so even after quiting the fin side effects are still there. All it was needed was a trigger.
