Hey guys all though I’m still suffering from physical and constant moodswings. Think this has a lot to do with my low testosterone and low cortisol I had huge improvements on a couple of products to the point where i thought i had recovered till physical sides came back.

It’s true. This drug has screwed me up such a mental rollercoaster. I can’t even explain it. Just fustrating when I thought i was recovering and back to square one. With different side effects. I spose i’m just trying to find some reasurrance that i’m going to get better. I want answers I guess i’m only 21 makes it harder.

18, 21, 24, 28 … Many of us here are relatively young… It’s tough when you come here and see this might be something you have to deal with indefinitely. You have a initial freak out that is increased by the drugs mental effects. Doesn’t help that its rare and misunderstood by pretty much the entire world. So you deal with it sa best as humanly possible and its a constant struggle. But nobody here can reassure you will get better… You might be stuck like this, like myself and others until a viable treatment or cure is found… It’s profoundly life altering something that few can understand.

Yeah without sounding to overdrammatic… it’s like the life has been sucked out of me. Complete opposite of what i used to be. I think it is more fustrating because all these symptoms make sense to my blood work and how i’m feeling. I guess I should suck it up till they do studies on me on the 8th of August.

My Last Theory - I’ll take a break from the forums.

lf propecia raises testosterone, which in turn allows more of it to aromatize to estrogen, and it also reduces DHT which is an estrogen agonist. Doesnt that mean we have more roaming estrogen? Could it be that our body has screwed production of DHT or damaged receptors to decrease estrogen…so as our test increases it turns into estrogen, DHT can barely put down estrogen so we are stuck in a viscious loop? because from what i’ve seen alot of peope have temporary recoveries on anti - estrogens?

At this point, it’s best to stop theorizing and focus on media and medical awareness. This is a very serious disease that demands scientific research to understand why it persists.

i know this is hard bro, but the guys are right, stop putting all this pressure on yourself and straining your mind about the science, simply put, that is not our job … this problem is very, very, very complex, and it is best left to the pros. i think for guys like you and me, our efforts are best used not on the science of this problem, but trying to create any awareness we can, and most importantly, trying to find ways to raise research money, in any way we can.

with that said, i understand how you are feeling and i know how scary it really is. please, try not to stress yourself so much, it will not help. all the right things are happening and we are moving in the right direction, without a doubt. stay strong, try to relax, and think of ways to raise funds.

Thanks for your words, guess it’s just hard. Well I work for the media ,though lack of guys from here wanting to participate can’t get a story without them. Well I’d suggest making a website with drs backing Pfs and some sort of donation button, victims stories etc. Maybe a bit about Awor and mew, why they are doing studies etc
