Did you look into getting that autoimmune dysautonomia panel from Mayo?

Dude I honestly forgot. I’m going back in a month, I just set myself a reminder man my bad

My brain feels like it barely works at times just slipped my mind, had it written in my phone

@Bigpoppa10040 have any of them suggested a drug protocol to dampen the immune response?

Yes it’s been talked about but I haven’t started down that rabbit hole yet.

As much as dampening immune response with drugs may prove useful in target cases, I don’t really know if this is the right time with Covid-19 still at large. Instead, I’d try these first:

  • Low dose Vitamin C
  • Baking Soda
  • Some probiotics such as Lactobacillus Rhamnosus GG and Bifidobacterium lactis BB-12
  • LDN

Why doesn’t everyone who thinks it is autoimmunity just go on autoimmune diet?

What is the source of their claims about pfs being autoimmune? Did they do any research on it? Tell them to prescribe dexamethasone if that is the case. I don’t think anyone recovered here by reducing immunity, infact in covid my immunity got fuckedup and i got even worse.

My man, I understand your frustration. We are all in this together. Just search the forum and develop your own opinion. I happen to believe what I believe

I see many links between this and post orgasmic illness syndrome (symptoms attached below). One hypothesis given towards POIS is that an allergic reaction to sperm causes an autoimmune response. It’s also very hard to treat POIS but since their symptoms go away after 2-7 days there isnt much need to treat them either.

@cursedlemon

I took Tribulus a couple of months ago which made my situation worse.
I developed alopecia barbae, small atrophy pocket on right cheek, similar to a dent you would see in a car and also developed wrist hand pain

I believe part of this condition is autoimmune related.

Finasteride is linked to certain immune diseases like vitiligo.

So fin can for sure make the immune system go bananas. But it’s likely only part of the issue, not the sole reason for our issues.

I wonder if anyone could help me here

As in my previous post I mentioned I got bad sides from just two Tribulus capsules. Some of these were, sore joints on right side of body, joint popping noises/sounds on right side of body, facial atrophy pocket on right side of face. Hand/wrist discomfort, predominantly right side.
Also developed Alopecia Barbae.
I believe these issues may be autoimmune related.

I also started to get bad reaction to caffeine and sugar, did not have this before Tribulus.
For sometime I had fatigue but that has since resolved. And caffeine and sugar is small amount is now fine for me too.

So three weeks later I went on holidays, it was sunny everyday, 30 Celsius each day and I felt great in the sun swimming, walking on beach, eating out etc and even some drinking, it was like a medicine.

Fast forward two months to three weeks ago I decided to try replicate this with sunbeds, I just completed three weeks and will do no more, did three each week.

I developed headaches and bad fatigue, feeling crappy in evening, waking up in morning after full night sleep and horrible tired feeling, also feel my muscle mass took a hit.

I heard from someone that the UV light can be bad for autoimmune situations and wondered is that the answer for the sunbed experience?

Obviously on holidays I did use sunblock but I did get little burned sometimes and forgot sunblock sometimes and never one fatigue experience.

I will say on holidays I took a magnesium and a Collagen peptide supplement, does anyone on here think that may have impacted? And why am I now responding negatively to UV light, as in sunbeds?

Thanks in advance

I don’t know exactly what happened to you.

But the sunbeds “light” can’t compare with the sun. Also the “good feeling” most people get from the sun, is not due to the light hitting your skin, but it’s what happens when sunlight goes into the eyes and you don’t want to keep your eyes open in a sunbed…

Pretty good summary here.

But of course to much UV rays might give you skin cancer and premature aging. So it’s all about moderation.

How can you explain Baylors results if this were autoimmune?
