For instance, if finasteride causes reflex hyperandrogenicity and your DHT levels skyrocket causing a massive shed can it grow back once you seize the med provided your DHT levels return to normal or is the lost hair the same as if you lost it in normal MPB?
In my opinion if propecia caused your DHT to go through the roof, it will increase the chances of MPB due to DHT shrinking the follicle. The thing is… I dont believe its just HIGH levels of DHT that cause hair loss. Its just MORE of DHT that are attacking the follicles which is usually determined by genetics.?.?.? The way Propecia stops the hair loss is it blocks DHT. Even if you had normal levels of DHT, you can still get hair loss. So if you were not experiencing typical MPB hair loss before and you now took propecia which increased your DHT. It could have triggered you into MPB. I think that if you do return to normal DHT levels your could either continue the hair loss due to Propecia setting it off. Or your body could return to normal. Im sure others will jump and give some help.
