No, but I used to and I’ve started again. Running and body-weight lifting. -

I used to eat a pretty broad “whatever comes my way” diet. In the last few days have transitioned to paleo. -

One week in I noticed a slight difference in ejaculate. That spurred me to research. -
What side effects did you experience while on the drug that have yet to resolve since discontinuation?
Change in ejaculate. Essentially all of my symptoms appeared only after quitting.

Hot flashes. A steady warmth/tingling in my nipples (probably the onset of gynecomastia). Eye twitches. Headaches.

What (if any) treatments have you undertaken to recover from your side effects since discontinuation of the drug?
I’ve changed my diet and begun an exercise routine. I’d like to know what else to do. -
If you have pre or post-Finasteride bloodtests, what hormonal changes have you encountered since discontinuing the drug (pls post your test results in the “Blood Tests” section and link to them in your post)?

This is criminal. There is NO WAY I would have taken this drug if I knew this could happen. This may have just ruined my life and for the first time the thought of “ending it would be easier” came unbidden into my mind. This isn’t a drug we should just be giving to 20-something guys who are afraid of losing their hair because the girls won’t like them. GIRLS LIKE ERECTIONS. BALD GUYS GET LAID. This drug is a crime. -
Tell us your story, in your own words, about your Finasteride usage and side effects experienced while on/off the drug.
I noticed hairfall and diffuse thinning. I did the research and unfortunately when you’re looking for solutions to hair loss, the people with sides are constantly silenced/dismissed by the hopeful and the lucky. I decided to approach my doctor and he didn’t blink. He prescribed me Proscar pills and I took 1.5mg Proscar for a week. I noticed watery ejaculate so I started looking into that a little and the more I looked the more content there was, of just male devastation.
I immediately stopped Proscar and went about my life. At times I noticed slight lack of sensitivity, but for the most part this wasn’t on my mind. Almost two months later I crashed. It was like a switch was flipped in my body over the course of an hour. I’ve never felt so strange. Before my body would just operate but now I notice fluctuations in my body temp, my attention will come and go, my mood is mercurial and everything takes more effort, but I’m always feeling tired. Beating this is going to be hard.
