Guys , i have very devastating side effects thanks to propecia. The thing is i am %50 blind now, light sensivity and night blidness, eye floaters and double vision. Its so hard to live like this. And the most devastating side is when i look a moving thing its like a slow motion , like my eyes skips the frame.
So i want some advice for some tests. Which test should i do?
I read somewhere pseudotumor cerebri. what kind of MR can show this. I did some mr tests and they came back normal. is this mean i dont have pseudotumor cerebri?
Eye doctors dont give a shit me. They just do some basic eye test. I want to be %100 sure if my eyes or eye nerves damaged.
Give me some advice. Which test should ı do?
cmon guys please give some advice i am waiting you.
Voice your concerns to your optician and get a referral for further testing.
My wife is an Optometrist. I had retinal scans from just prior to this drug fucking me over. I had her rescan me and she could see no difference.
There are my current vision issues post fin.
Dry Eyes
Light sensitive
When I scan back and forth with my eyes I get image fusion problems. This would only happened before if I was sleep deprived.
If you get a scan they can see the full structure of your eye. If its good it has to be a brain/nerve issue.
I spoke to a fin user last night, while he was on fin he has horrible dry eyes. The dr. Said he has only seen this condition with pregnant woman and not a man. Very similar to when I went to the dentist a few weeks ago and he remarked that I had so much bleeding in my mouth for a routine cleaning he only sees this in women in the 2nd trimester of pregnancy.
This information should be a clue correct? Can we not figure out why these happen and create possible treatments?
depressedguy: I have had multiple tests done (MRIs, topographies, etc.) and everything looks perfect. The only thing that can be found is severe dry eyes. I’ve found out that severe dry eyes can have a SIGNIFICANT effect on vision. My vision is garbage too; I can’t see shit at night and words appear to float when I stare at them on the computer. Weird stuff. The only thing I can come up with is that my tear film is seriously jacked up. The tear film provides nutrition to the cornea and also provides a nice smooth surface for light to enter the eye.
Now floaters are a different story, but I do think that a lot of our eye problems are on the surface of our eyes. Apparently hormones play a large part in the formation of the tear film (see link in Mew’s post). Now if we can just figure out why we aren’t going back to normal now that we are off the drug.
if you can , i strongly advice to do erg test. its expensive here. it shows if your retinal cells works with correct signal.
