I took the genetic test (Tell me Gen).
The results indicate that I may have an increased likelihood of sexual dysfunction if I take serotonin reuptake drugs. In particular, the HTR2A gene and the rs6311 variant would lead to an increased likelihood (3.6 times) of sexual dysfunction when taking an SSRI. I would be curious to know whether scientists dealing with post-finasteride syndrome are studying this gene.
c.-1438A>G and 1438A/G are other variants that can be involved in such symptoms.
I would also be curious to know if others here possess this gene variant and suffer from PFS.
