I think now I understand why urologist don't believe in PFS

I disagree. It’s very important that some of us do this. Some have already. It’s not enough. Imagine if we could band together a hundred men (and hopefully some women with sexual symptoms of PAS and PSSD) to become outspoken together? It would send a powerful message. At this point we only have around a dozen people across 3 syndromes (PFS/PAS/PSSD) and it is enough to at least make a squeak.

It will get better. I’m going on 3+ years. I got it for enlarged prostate… wish I had never gotten the poison… I’m doing a daily regimen of 20 mg of cialis…seems to help. That and vitamin A along with something to increase blood flow

I’m one of those older guys… I explicitly asked about sexual sides because even at 55 I had a healthy sex life. I just think doctors don’t care…pretty straightforward

We will find a solution! We have to be patient. Science is making progress every day

I agree… in my particular case, I try to take a cialis every day…i’ve noticed that if there is um… “blood flow” then it helps me think of erotic stuff… if there isn’t, like on the days where I forget to take it…I’m like a eunuch…no interest at all… i hope there is a cure one day while I’m young enough to take advantage of it

I don’t know if I should take via or Cialis since I lack the underlying important factor: libido.
Anything erotic to me is the same as watching a cartoon…
This shit killed my desire overnight…

They actually help even if you lack libido, as @Procar2017 notes. Daily low-dose Cialis would be a nice treatment for me except that it gives me unbearable side effects (like low blood pressure).

I also had low or zero libido for more than 2 years. Now it is coming back slowly. It was key to sleep a lot, switch to a healty diet and start cycling Tribulus. Depression is also receeding. Nature is powerful, but we have to give it the right environment

I do remember just trying to take cialis when I wanted to have sex but libido was dead. Because I have been using Testosterone patches I needed to balance out with aromatase inhibitor. But even now, if I miss taking cialis I don’t have much desire.

However, there are days now where I have to try really hard not to be horny or think about sex. Now I’m having sex at least twice a week and with vitamin A I feel it more.

Though to Aldo’s point, it has been 3 years. So I still very much have symptoms but it is a little better. At one point I was so depressed…but now I know I may need daily cialis for years…hopefully not the rest of my life but if so, I’ll do anything that makes me feel again

Doctors are biased to believe in drugs as helpful and other stuff as harmful. Over the course of 5 years after getting every blood test in the book plus some imaging tests, not one doctor looked at my current or recent past medications with suspicion. Not one doctor. But some of them did hint or say directly that it was all psychological. Doctors feel like they cannot succumb to anecdotes and emotionality from their patients because that heads them down the road of unscientific. But slowly we are learning more now how drug companies hide data, bad data, from everyone including government regulatory agencies. And we see how doctors are so busy trying to make some money in an unhealthy private industry dominated by insurance companies, that they do not have time to even read all the many many scientific/journal articles that come out all the time now.
