Today i had Electroretinography and Dark Adaptation test, these are some spesific tests to diagnose rare diseases. Unfortunately results are terrible. Night blindness both of two eyes. Permenant rod cells damage. Want to tell this information for people who has nightblindness. Go for this test ASAP.
Can they determine if you have rod cell damage with the machine or it’s just an assumption they do based on your results?
I dont know, he said you dont have a vitamin deficiency or zinc, or cataract. They are only reversible nightblindness conditions. I said is this mean its permanent he said very very likely its rod cells damage.
I wanted more information but he was busy i guess, i will search if they rod cells can heal itself.
If you write ’ rod cells Gaba’ on google you will see more informations.
Depressed guy, if you look through a pinhole (a small hole) does your vision improve?
Yes but only double vision.
How long have you been noticing this? Did you also have dry eyes?
