I don't think erection issues are neurological, I've been icing my balls the last few days

So already off, I’ve been icing my balls for 30 minutes a night. It sounds weird, but this forum is used to weird.

Oddly enough, I’ve found myself able to achieve and maintain an erection MUCH MUCH easier than before. I barely have to be aroused to keep my guy up. Physical stimulation is still required, but to much less a degree.

So, currently this procedure consists of ice in a ziploc bag applied directly to the testicles and for thirty minutes every night, at the moment.

Interestingly enough, the first night I did this I felt no pain, very little coldness. It was like I wasn’t even putting ice down there. The second day I had more sensations and the third day it was COLD AND PAINFUL AS SHIT.

During the course of these three days, the first day I had little to no effects. The next day, I had an easy to maintain erection increased libido which I promptly drained via excited masturbation (a lot that night). The day after I had very decreased libido, but my erections were still much greater than before. These last few days I have also had much less ejaculate, leading me to believe I have a decreased libido because I have no sperm (which I’m guessing is being created at a decreased volume because of continuous icing). The decreased libido hasn’t stopped me, but it should be noted.

So, going forward, I do not know of the impact sustained cooling has on your balls, but I have seen the benefits. I’ve also been in a great mood the last few days. I seem less prone to addictive behaviors, which could be placebo, hormonal or just a factor from being excited.

Anyway, I’ve got theories about what may be happening via up regulation, or inflammation and/or signal interlays, but that doesn’t seem to matter too much. I just wanted to share with you gents what I’ve been doing. If there is any merit to this, it’d be cool to see if anyone else would be willing to join in on this odd little trial. Especially because it’s free. I know ice seems too silly and easy to be true, but anything that doesn’t damage is worth a try in my opinion.

Worth checking up on how long is safe to apply ice for - 30 minutes is a long time.

It is, and I’ll admit I don’t think anyone should do this. Curiously, I fell on my balls rather hard a few weeks ago and it caused a lot of pain, but seems to have somewhat reconnected my balls to my Cns. Where I couldn’t even really feel pain, I can now feel most sensations. There also seems to a component to the testes that stimulate arousal, which you can feel by firmly but gently tapping your balls before orgasming while masturbating. Like, real arousal and not faking yourself into arousal.

I messed around massaging and tapping my testes to induce some pain and I have almost no problems keeping an erection now. I don’t even need to be aroused really. I also noticed my mind seems to be less concentrated on sex. Like the sexual energy was finally released when I orgasm. My penis is also no longer hard flaccid and my testes feel “alive” if you get me. Kind of soft and organic instead of hard. Shit is weird, but my junk is working again for the most part.

The only thing left is occasional speech problems, which I’m hoping to train myself out of and my facial hair is super light, which I’m hoping will grow back darker. This is also while my hair continues to thin, so I have no idea what the cause could be.

Glad to hear you’re doing ok, keep updating.

I don’t like seeing stories that haven’t been updated for months!

Any studies ED has no neurological root? What about pudendal nerve issues shown in the pfs studies?

Thats what I find interesting. I don’t know about you guys and your symptoms with ed, but mine seemed like it stemmed from some sort of dysfunction with the prostate or pelvic floor. I would touch my penis and my prosate/pelvic floor would respond with twitching and it seemed like my balls would not get the signal. This seemed to decrease after causing some physical pain to my testes. Maybe the signals weren’t connected or firing correctly.
