I started taking propecia in Feb of 2012. I stopped in March of 2013… Was off of it for 4 months and shed a lot of hair… Didn’t have any sides… I took it for 8 weeks later this year in August of 2013… I had a mild side of ed while on it the second time around. I was able to have sex for 4 hours and erection was only at 60 percent… Took me four hours to get off… was very frustrating… I had sex 2 times after that… and everything was normal… I immediately quit taking the finasteride… I have been off for 7 weeks now exactly… I dont believe I crashed the first time I quit taking it in March of this year… Since stopping my erection has gotten better and somedays worse… I still have morning, nocturnal, and spontaneous erections at the moment… When I watch porn I can get hard … Sometimes its harder than other times due to the frequency of times I do it in a week… My finace is in prison at the moment and when I talk to her on the phone it has gotten hard without having to touch it or stimulate it… It also gets hard when I talk to her about how much I love her… I am 7 weeks off the poison today… I never felt no surge of DHT return to my body like I have read on here that happens when people crash…I kissed a female last week and got a very good response after I masterbated 3 times prior to seeing her that night and just by kissing her it got hard…But I didn’t have sex with her… My question is does it sound like I have crashed?? Or does it sound like I am on my way to recovering on my own without a crash??? And if I do crash what symptoms do I need to look for in the next month?? Does all what I am describing sound like I have crashed??? I have no idea how to tell if I have crashed or not… Can anyone elaborate or help?? That is the only way or best way I know how to describe… So basically the only thing I can tell that happened to me is ed???

I am 10 weeks off the poison today… I went to a urologist this week and had blood work done… He diagnosed me with low testosterone… My level was 320. I am 34 years old… He checked my prostate and said that everything was excellent… He ran another blood test and checked LH and FH and he said that they were above average or excellent… I explained to him that my sex drive was down and told him I still get spon, noc, and morning wood still and I told him basically everything I have said on this post. I told him when I talk to my fiancé on the phone it rises to the occasion…lol… i have kissed a female in the last 2 weeks and got a mild reaction in my penis… it turned me on but was a light turn on… but of course it was just a kiss… He put me on testosterone cream and told me to come back in 6 weeks and see him… He said he might put me on clomid after the 6 weeks on the cream… i am glad that he diagnosed me with low t… Maybe he can help reverse what is happening being that i haven’t crashed… The only side i have is erectile dysfunction and lowered libido but he said he wants get my testosterone levels up between 600 and 800… He thinks he can get the test levels up and make them stay up and these mild problems will go away… I can still get spon, morning and nocturnals erections… i still can masterbate with or without porn… I can still get 50 percent erect when i watch porn with no stimulation but then it will start to go down. When i masterbate i can get it fully hard and then if i stop in the middle of the act or take my hand off it will start to go down between 15-30 seconds… This is where i am 10 weeks off finasteride… I would like some opinions on this from people that know… Once again never experienced a CRASH… never felt no dht return to body or overwhelming feeling… I believe that propecia however lowered my testosterone level extremely low… Prostate is excellent. So no damage there…If anyone can help i would appreciate it!!! Would like to hear what people think and if yall think i will recover after this being that i haven’t crashed??? It is also my understanding that if i had crashed that none of these things i am doing or able to do would be happening… Oh one more thing i took a 20 mg Cialis about 3 weeks ago and was able to have sex…Anyone that can help or knows anything about please help…
