Scientists have recently discovered 5AR3 enzyme in humans, as noted here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4875
It turns out 5AR3 is expressed in higher concentrations across numerous body systems, vs 5AR1 and 5AR2 (which Finasteride is known to inhibit). According to this paper, Finasteride and Dutasteride also potently inhibit 5AR3.
