Huge doses of vitamin D

There is a thread here about some guy who was taking 100.000 ius of d3 per day and even more. He claimed to gain back his semen quantity and quality. I recently switched to 50.000 ius every 5 days. I also noticed improved semen. If somebody can find his thread please post it here. Its hard to find by entering d3 in the search box.
I have also noticed increased tinnitus which coincided with when i started using these kind of doses. I read that is a common side effect and indicates magnesium deficiency. I was already taking magnesium supplement and i upped the dose. It seems to have subsided a bit.
2 points to be made:
a) is there a positive effect on the prostate by taking such large d3 doses, hence improved semen quality? Or do the large doses activate the AR more efficiently? (Vitamin d3 is an AR activator).
B) why did i get the tinnitus since i was already supplementing with magnesium? Is my body not efficient in absorbing minerals after pfs?

P.s: before the whole pfs thing i remember myself noticing the benefits of even 4000ius of d3 per day. Now i dont feel that that much. Does this indicate AR resistance? I dont know

Given the enormity of the problems we face i find it really weird that people are not experimenting more on this forum. There are few who are pushing our boundaries (porgesterone, letro, …) but very little from the rest.

Vitamin D is very promising. I researched the forum and most people have reported positive effects. I have been feeling better in the days that follow my weekly 10000 IU but the days beforee my next dose i feel bad again. I am thunking of taking more regularly, or/and higher doses.

Research has only indicated that levels above 50,000 iu daily (which enormous) could be bad, but we are way below that at the moment. These levels might also be good for us.

Thing is i am planning to take clomid + letro soon so i can t continue experimenting with D3…

I agree we need to keep trying different things. It could be years before there is any recognised treatment for PFS.

I’ve just bought hundreds of 5000IU D3 capsules from amazon along with high dose Q10 to include them in my regime after my water fast. Not sure about the dose of D3, it will depend on my blood tests but those always shown low D3 levels. My endo told me that she often recommends low-d3 patients to start by consuming high dose D3 on the first week (~100,000-200,000IU total for the week) and then continue with normal daily doses like 500IU. However in our cases this may not hold… She also mentioned that I should take D3 balanced with calcium in order to be effective.

People have been experimenting for years without success. The “enormity of the problem we face” unfortunately means that a coordinated, sophisticated approach is necessary to solve it instead of looking for the needle in the haystack. That’s why it is important to support the Foundation with donations and to participate in the studies. Recruiting is still on-going, and the quicker people sign up the more progress we make.

Now that does not mean that experiments are fruitless. Who knows, maybe someone accidently stumbles over the magic bullet, but supporting the on-going effort to solve our problem using actual scientists from institutions with great reputation should always come first.
