I checked in on their facebook page earlier and they had only removed your own comment on my message thread with the youtube link. The comment I had made after your own comment saying something like, “Thanks. I’ll do that” (in relation to checking out the video) was still there, and now ran just after their response regarding checking out their own webpage on finasteride and filling in the form re: arranging an appointment. It appeared then to be endorsing and actioning their own advice, therefore I removed my own initial comment myself, killing the thread, as it appeared that my initial query had kind of backfired and given them a further opportunity to promote and endorse finasteride, which I absolutely didn’t want, as they obviously manage their own facebook page in such a way as to only promote and also to quell any dissent, which is only natural being a commerical, profiteering outfit with no concern for potential harm, unless they are directly being faced with a lawsuit. I think at best with regards to the facebook page, a campaign where posts are constantly put up (and inevitably taken down) will hopefully be seen by casual visitors, but at best annoy the fuck out of them.
This is the same clinic that put a 14 year old on Finasteride they obviously have no morals beyond making money.
PR123- you are absolutely right! I was fine on the drug for 9 years. Once people start slowing down doses or stopping at once, I think it will be an epidemic.
I agree with PR123 and Finatruth
If and when propecia is hopefully rid of the market the whole PFS thing will
Blow up in people’s faces.
Glad to see a consensus on the epidemic issue.
To think that hundreds of thousands – if not millions – of men around the globe could develop PFS within days of going off the drug is like something out of Stephen King’s imagination.
Better yet, it’s kind of like the movie “Speed” – the bus can’t slow down or else everyone will be blown to bits. But it can’t keep going either; eventually it’ll run out of gas or crash into something.
I’m no public-health expert, but the Propecia controversy seems to be without precedent.
I also was on propecia for 10 years and I did not have any side effects until I stopped using propecia. I am sure a large percentage of the millions of people on the drug now will have side effects if they stop using the drug. If this drug is taken off the market, perhaps millions of men in their 20s and 30s will have erectile dysfunction for the rest of their lives among many other side effects. Maybe Merck and the FDA are not taking the drug off the market because of this reason.
I have a friend who is still taking it, has been taking it for like 12 years. I took it 9 years. He mentioned that he has had an incredible amount of plaque buildup in his teeth and his dentist has no idea how its happening. (this was one of my noticeble symptoms) I told him to keep the dose regular and stay on it until we learn more about this horrific drug. I crashed a few days after my final pill.
