How many of you have varicocele?

It is around $5k in Europe.

Wow way to expensive I’m in no position financially to do that thanks for letting me know though.

I have it to in the left side pretty bad, also have above range T and SHBG.

So,hello guys Im 17 and I have had 3 surgeries of varicocele in a just one year and a month. The first varicocelectomy i had(October 2018) relapsed in about the first 3 months so my doctor suggested that I have another one in about 4 months from then.I had my second varicocelectomy (June 2019) and it didnt go as well as expected. It led to hydrocele in the first place and it relapsed again in the first month. My doctor went on to suggesting the embolization method which is said to be better and I had an embolization just a month and 10 days before(18 october 2019) by 2 actinologists that are known to be very good.I then went to my urologist again for check up because i had not seen any different in the first 10 days and he mentioned i have hydrocele but not in a big grade and its not something to worry about right now as long as it doesnt cause any problems. He said that its too early to make a decision on whether the varicocele went away but with the ultrasound and the check up he did the last few times i visited him he said everything is okay.Problem is that i have lots of pain and uncomfortableness in the testicle while sitting, running standing for a long time or lifting my school bag for example. He said i shouldnt have this pain but it wil either go away soon or stay there for a long time like a chronical pain and prescribed me some anti inflammatory pills that he said i should take only when im in great pain.I asked him if its okay to start exercising and he said its cool as long as i dont press much and dont lift any big weights. If any of u guys knows how to help or has experienced something like this and knows how long it might take id love it if you helped.

I have a varicocele as well. So do you have PFS or just varicocele what are your symptoms??? You should fill out a member story when you get the chance.

Did you ever make an appointment with Dr. Mulhall? If so, how was your visit? I saw him about the same time that you did and found him to be dishonest and dismissive.

I have it, strong one on the left and mild one on right. It is painless though.

What i wonder is if PAS gave me this or i was going to have then anyways… I just realized them at 19. At 16, i didn’t have it.

Has anyone developed varicoceles after PFS? Can someone please comment?

Is there any relation? I think prostate inflammation and lack of blood supply to the testicles can cause this?
