How long was it for you to overcome exercise intolerance?

Hi together in the same boat.

Have a question that bothers me:
I loved going to the gym and had a very good shape and was able to lift heavy weights without any problems. 1 week of gym and I gained. And my mind is up to beat this condition or do most healthy things. But my problem is, every time I just do squats or pull-ups I feel worse the next day and even more frightening. During the exercise sessions my genitals shrink that damn much that I get the feeling my body is not ready until now or even worse for me: It’s the wrong approach!?

So I want to ask you guys with improvements over time.
(My mental sides - Brain Fog and more got a lot better 4 month since crash)
But I can’t exercise hard against this condition what makes me freak out.

How long did it take you until you were abel to do normal exercise without the sides?
Would be very glad to hear from you.

I quit 9 months ago, and my genitals still shrink during sports, and testicles start to hurt afterwards. I think it happens because ever since the crash my body tends to release too much cortisol, which lowers testosterone.

I have found drinking green tea to be helpful in lowering cortisol, as well as taking long deep breaths and meditating. Please share if you find ways to prevent shrinking.

For whatever reason, I cannot really tolerate heavy exercise without mirtazipine. While on mirtazipine I can lift weights and feel strong. I upped the squat weights tuesday. Yesterday my libido surged. I feel lifting heavy weights has been overall very beneficial to me. Not sure if this will ever lead to a cure but it sure gets me out of self pity and anger towards all this. Puts me in a better mood for sure.

4 or 5 years to recovery.

Hmm. That mirtazipine affects serotonine and noradrenaline. Latter has to do with adrenal glands and adrenal fatigue. I also react badly to anything that stresses me, eg coffee or stress, most likely gym as well. It seems obvious that while gym does good, the adrenals might be totally busted to really tolerate it.

also, green tea has caffeine so it definitely stresses adrenals. i’ve personally experienced crashing with it, after my initial crash. it was just as bad as with coffee. so stay away from it.
