You would want to be able to see the number of unique IP addressess that have visited this website. I tend to doubt that information would be available.
I think the 1,400 number is a tiny fraction of the number of guys that have suffered or are still suffering from this drug. Ask yourself if you belief Merck’s claims about the percent of men that suffer side effects from taking propecia. What percent of guys do you think actually suffer sides? How many men are unaware those side are related to this drug or unwilling to admit it seek out help. The numbers no doubt are very high.

Viagra has had 50 reported cases of vision loss out of 23 million users and doctors have no trouble believing that as a side effect of use and they have even put it in the product information.
This forum alone has 1400 members and god knows how many more people are out there suffering but for some reason doctors just refuse to believe that it’s possible for this drug to have any serious long term adverse effects, even though it’s known to drastically effect hormone levels, because it wasn’t reported it the initial trials… which were performed by a company that has been proven to be corrupt and unethical.
Hold Merck’s Executives for not reacting to our claims. They should be held civily liable and criminally for fraud.
I agree there probably are lots of sufferers out there, and possibly many men who won’t accept their lower functioning after Propecia. Men are notoriously difficult patients and tend to avoid presenting to doctors, especially with symptoms as sensitive as lower sexual functioning.
Please can we focus on trying to get ourselves better? That is the primary aim here.
I note that none of you guys who have contributed to this thread have had their 3 Adiol G levels tested.
Life is moving on, our risk of breast and prostate cancer is increasing, our suffering continues, relationships are breaking up, some chaps have committed suicide…and none of you have tested your 3AdiolG levels.
Come on guys…get it done…then get better.
I think you’ll need 3AdiolG as a basis for a lawsuit anyway.

Where are you in your recovery? You had come back on to inform everyone you were recovered, then you said maybe you hadn’t. You left for a while again and now you’re back. I do recall you saying that now you believe that the HGH was just a band aid for the problem and not dealing with the true source of the problem.
What percent would you say you are in terms of being fully recovered? 70, 80, …?
Did anything work for you other than the HGH? I can’t recall if you were taking TRT as well.

Interesting it sounds as though you may be onto something with Masteron. I looked up some info on it.
Masteron is derived from Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) but with an added 2a-methyl group. It is therefore structurally incapable of conversion to either estrogen or progesterone. Judging from the literature I’ve seen, the 2a-methyl group would also seem to make it less of a substrate for 3a-HSD (3alpha-Hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase), and maybe the beta version of that enzyme as well. This is good because those enzymes serve to, in some ways, inactivate DHT. They are responsible for the inactivation of DHT into a less-anabolic hormone. They are also the reason why injectable DHT is not produced as an anabolic on its own.
If I recall you’re a doctor so getting a hold of some shouldn’t be a problem. If this works it would likely be a life long commitment I imagine.
I talked to a couple of doctors about the Proviron. They all shy away from prescribing steroids.
How many reported cases of our side effects are there? Consistent side effects? How many of us are relying on this instead of calling up merck and FDA with focused complaints on our problems?
If you haven’t reported go to both the FDAs website and Mercks (www.propecia.com) get the number and call in.

That 1400 is just people on this forum that have linked finasteride to the symptoms. There are many many more people that are as sick as we are, posting to other forums who don’t know about this forum or haven’t figured out yet that it is finasteride that screwed them up. I thought it was medication I was taking for seizures that did this too me until exhaustive research pointed me in the right direction.
There is another forum I found called hisandher where there is a 143 page thread on ejaculatory anhedonia. In other words, these men can have an ejaculation but the pleasure part is missing. The thread went on for 143 pages and I would bet anything that most of these men have taken propecia or one of it’s variants at some point of their lives. Many of us have really weak orgasms that feel almost completely pleasureless
I think the number 1400 is much smaller than I would expect it to be, of course there are people who have sides and dont link it with fin, or do see the link but aren’t registered, but out of the millions who use fin you would have to times 1400 by a lot to even get close to the percentage that are claimed to have sides.
If you believe even more than the published percentage actually have sides then you would have to times 1400 by an even larger amount.
So rather than seeing 1400 as a large number I would have expected it to be much higher.
So the number of registered uses unless its in the tens of thousands is pretty irrelevant of course it would be great if that number was smaller, but like a poster stated people should concentrate on other things.
