High Siliva Progesterone and e2 low t

Any of you guys done any siliva testing. This measures free hormone levels. I think we should all be doing this to see what our free levels are this takes the binding hormones out of the picture. As you can see I am pretty messed up. My hormone levels tell my story pretty well. I am trying to determine where the progesterone is coming from. I think for me the high e, high prog and low T are really the killers. My cortisol has been tested another 2 times and this was the highest level its been. Usually much lower.

Would like to hear from people who have done similar tests.

Ok I repeated these test to check if I could get consitent resalts.

Progesterone is still over range at 260.

e2 is at 11

And siliva cortisol was at 11.

Slight variation but they are showing the same thing

Free cort = too low
Free e2 = way too high
Free progesterone = way too high

There are serious problems and in them self with cause the problems we are experiencing. You MUST all do these tests asap!

Blood tests are good but we measure free T for a reason. Blood tests do not measure free progesterone and estrogens. Siliva tests do.

Progesterone converts to 17-OH Progesterone which converts to cortisol. I think it’s interesting how we both have excessive amounts of the precursor yet low amounts of the final metabolite.

Adrenals seem to be a common problem. I failed a ACTH test where my cortisol failed to raise by the sufficient amount. Although it’s difficult to know if this a cause or symptom of the problem. I’ve always suspected I’ve had poor functioning adrenals thought even before PFS. ACTH is actually responsible for expression of the enzymes that convert progesterone to cortisol. (21-hydroxylase and 11β-hydroxylase)

That test service looks decent though, another guy posted one with 5-AR results. I don’t know whether to bother as it’ll just confirm what we already know with no explanation on how to treat it.

“Measurements of levels of 17-OH progesterone are useful in the evaluation of patients with suspected congenital adrenal hyperplasia as the typical enzymes that are defective, namely 21-hydroxylase and 11β-hydroxylase, lead to a build-up of 17OHP.”

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/17-Hydroxy … easurement

should you we not test Enzymes, 5AR, 21-hydroxylase and 11β-hydroxylase?
I have always high cortisol in all tests,Even ACTH test cam normal.

Adrenals have to be involved, I have high cortisol, diagnosed with pseudo cushings , have really bad sensitivity to sunlight.

Not sure you can test an enzyme. Where are they located. Adrenals? Testicles? You just need to test the metabolites i guess.

Note : My blood cortisol is always in the top 30 percent of range. And free cort is low. Symptoms are classic low free cort.

I do not really think a specific enzyme just broke. I think it is more likely that fin caused some damage in adrenals or testicles and we are seeing the results. Perhaps the liver but I think less likely.

I have symptoms of both high and low Cortisol
1- Cold hands, feet, low BP low Cortisol

2- Big pot belly (looks 7 month pregnant), boy high hairlss from out side hands and legs (this is classic symptoms of you type Dogs high cortisol you will this typical ones), fatigue etc.

Spstriken- are your hands getting less cold? I’m notincing my hands are less and less cold and my digestion is approaching perfect

My condition is not consistent. When I feel better , Vit D works and I feel better (body temp good, hands warm, BP close to normal around 110) but when feel bad I feel my vit D does not work or works slowly and I get
Big belly
cold hands and feet
low BP around 90
Head ache and feel like brain is shrinking or being squeezed
I become cranky
Gums start bleeding
breath becomes smelly
pain in my legs and arms, fore arms, hands and feet.
etc etc.

you took progesteron cream? how is your experience, Do you feel better than before starting or it made it worse during and after quitting?

From wikipedia:

“Neuroactive steroids (or neurosteroids) rapidly alter neuronal excitability through interaction with neurotransmitter-gated ion channels. In addition, these steroids may also exert effects on gene expression via intracellular steroid hormone receptors.”

Imo the whole issue of pfs lies on this statement.
Also, ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11826124

SP- when I was feeling good, I took prog cream for 5 days and bam I crashed. Really bad insomnia, zero sexual function, dryness, completely numb penis. It’s the first time other than alcohol, I was able to find something that directly and dramatically affects this condition. The good news is that both now 3-4 weeks later I am getting better again and 2) I think the cream stimulated my estrogen receptors and I probably should have stayed on it. I just want to make sure I get back to my previous baseline. Once I know it’s not permanent, I’ll play with it some more and probably stay on it like all the people who have had positive experiences with it.

On a side note, cold intolerance and bloating are seemingly disappearing

Some users have reproted almost same repsonse from using DHT cream and they say after applying the cream their penis became more number and smaller. It is strange. Almost all girls/transgenders report growth on DHT application. Go on youtube and you will find many girls become more muscline and manly after using DHT but we have become strange case.

I am going to report to Dr. Healy (risk.org) my experience with progesterone. It was very apparent what happened. Everything dropped almost instantaneously (also reported by Robbo) Even the next day at work my friends asked if I was In the sun bc my forehead and cheeks were bright red, also lost my sense of smell again. I am now more convinced then ever what is going on is neurological, and takes place in the frontal lobe just above the eyebrow ridge, an area that myself and others have indicated some excitability and dizziness coming from

Yeah right its all going on in the brain and many are reporting shrunk penises, gyno, fat on their hips, loss of body hair, changes in hair, cessastion of balding, loss of morning wood, loss of muscle, changes in digestion, rashes, acne, changes in body odor, changes in bone density, changes in gums and many more… All neurosteroids… for sure…

Shrunk penis when applying DHT is because of progesterone!
Cold hands and feet are not from cortisol, they come from the thyroid, which comes from adrenal insufficiency

There is a negative feedback loop together with IGF-1 to ensure that 5ar concentrarions remain!

Vincent, we have a similar hormonal profile! I need to know your symptoms and if you tested

  • IGF-1
  • RT3/T3 ratio
  • prolactin
  • 17alpha-OH-Progesterone

Please come back at me

Progesterone antagonizes the glucocorticoid receptor. To high progesterone and cortisol can’t bind to the cell. I know dht is supposed to lower progesterone, but I don’t know. Surely the cortisol receptors play a big roll in pfs

By the way, I also have very high cortisol, progesterone, dhea and estradiol.

Here is another prog test at another lab

That is at least 2 labs now but blood p is only high when I test in Thailand and low in Australia???

Check thyroid can boost low s to optimum levels if you have hypoadrenalism also affecting free t and improves digestion gut in seconds
