Hi - New member here

Ive just started noticing hair loss around the vertex/crown area. I have generally thick hair but a bald spot is appearing around the vertex.

I am contemplating using Propecia as I have heard it is good for people just experiencing hairloss. However I am really concerned by the side effects.

Wanted to get an understanding of the frequency of the side effects i.e. what percentile experience such problems.

Also I am considering using a natural product such as HairGenesis. Does anyone have an idea of how effective such products are as it claims to be a natural DHT inhibitor!

Many many thanks

Don’t take it. We all had problems on the drug and they did not resolve. This is a forum for guys that have had problems since quitting the drug…also, other members have asked this same queston before you, ie:

Nobody knows the true % of side effects sufferers but it is much higher than 2%… likely more like 10-30% of guys. Read the studies in the Finasteride Studies section to see what this drug can do to you.

If you want to risk impotence and no more sex drive for life, go ahead. But I advise you not to touch this drug, it can destroy your Testosterone production, lead to penile shrinkage, gyno, and a host of other issues.
