Help with getting good sleep

Hi guys quit fin about 10 days ago and i think i am definitely getting consistently worse sleep. I would always toss and turn throughout the night but this feels different. I really feel like i am only getting a solid 3-4 hours before i wake up and can never fully enter a certain level of sleep again if that makes sense. I ordered zma online so hopefully that helps some. I dont want to start zzzquil or the like if i dont need to because i feel like id quickly develop a dependency. Any ideas?
