My name is joe Im 30 yrs old. I took propecia (actually proscar cut into fours) for 11 days. My hair started thinning about 3 years ago and my life has revolved around it ever since.
Took me 3 years to try propecia because i was so hesitant about side affects. My younger brother who started losing hair at 16 took the drug for years and assured me that he never had a side affect.
After a few days on the drug, I had tremendous testicular pain almost to the extent thought had to go to emergency, extremely watery semen, penile leakage abdominal pain low libido, felt weird feelings in my prstrate, and first day I realized ED I stopped the drug completely. It was like my thing was dead and i was horrified. My uroligist told me that I was crazy and that porpecia was absolutely not the cause. tested me for infections came back negative on all, then told me it was maybe kidney stones negative
I am a guy that never had ed or libido problem no matter what was going on alcohol etc…
I stopped the drug 3 months ago, things started to return to normal, not exactly the same but improving. but last 2 weeks Im back to the way i was when I was on the drug, extreme ED problems with my girlfriend, really watery semen, low libido, Having ED prob even when Im alone with myself. Dont know what to do or where to go, what doctors to see. I dont know whether I should tell my new girlfriend, she dosent know I just kinda pull away from her and she gets upset like i just dont want her etc… Im just afraid that Im am permanently damaged. I just wish I was smarter. I only took it for 11 days. I dont know what to do!
