Hello. I am a 25 year old Italian boy. I used a lotion with finasteride 0.1% for two and a half years and for a year and a half serenoa repens. For a month I did not use anything. Between December and January I took only 40 tablets of finasteride 0.25 mg every two to three days. Now I have tinnitus and I feel my cold glans. I stopped everything for ten days. Give me some advice please. Do I have to suspend gradually? Is it possible that everything is resolved?

The only advice is that do not take finasteride never ever again. Its the worst poison man can take. And if you take it, dont cycle. There have been bad experiences going on and off with this drug.
You are going to be fine I think. Eat healthy, exercise moderate and get enough quality sleep. And dont stress too much about the situation.

The tinnitus does not allow me to sleep, I have panic attacks and I feel my penis very cold. How long does it take to pass before we talk about Finasteride post syndrome?
yes , cycling gave me post finasteride syndrome. without it i would have never get it probably. but you can still get it without cycling so stay away. its never worth it. how sad would your life become when you have to stop it due sides, get permanent sides with no known cure that effect your whole life extremely (personally no sex drive and cant study anymore, headaches) and your hair will still fall out because you cant take it anymore. how bad would your life be then?
I’m not interested in hair anymore. I care that these symptoms fade away. I read that some have suspended gradually. Do I have hope? I’ve been suspended for 10 days.
after 10 days suspending gradually is maybe too late maybe not. dont know. best advice i can give you is to skip alcohol in the next weeks and anything else that affect your hormones. i wouldnt try to taper off now

its not even clear that tapering is the better approach.
I’m not going to get the finasteride tablet anymore. I could climb with finasteride in lotion 0.1% or Serenoa repens
As I said, my advice is DONT touch finasteride ever again. No lotion, no pills, nothing. Means stay away from Serenoa repens too. You have been off for 10 days so tapering off is not an option anymore. There is no proofs that tapering off fina would be better than quit cold turkey. You have been off for 10 days so my advice would be: dont take fina ever again.
Do you get any sleep at all or is tinnitus just way too loud all night long?
You have to minimize stress, thats not helping you at all. When I first came here, many people said to me that I have to stop stressing. At that point I didnt really understand how to do it but afterwards I understand that.
Try not to stress about this situation, you are going to be fine but its takes time. You have to let your body adapt to this imbalanced situation. Give your body 6 months to heal then check your situation again.
And in the mean time, eat healthy, moderate exercise and try to get some sleep.

Get a box fan to drown out the noise from your tinnitus. Throw a cover on it so the actual air doesn’t blow at you if you don’t want it to.
