I have been a long time reader of this forum, but I have just registered. I know sometimes people can be quite antagonistic toward each other on this forum so I have hesitated a bit to post. However, I have the best intentions as for my reasons for posting here.
The reason I saw this forum in the first place was that I considered going on propecia for hair loss, but seeing some of your stories dissuaded me. I struggled with it for many MANY MANY months actually, but as of now I’ve decided to stay away from it - so thank you.
Anyway, I am a first year student going into medical research, so I can’t really be of help now, but I do have some questions I think are relevant to your issues and who knows, maybe one day I could turn it into some real research.
Obviously many of you have suffered from permament side effects of finasterside. I am sure that you have investigated common denominators between you all but I am curious as to the extent of this investigation.
So these are my questions to those that participate in this forum(backed by some medical knowlege)…If you don’t want to answer or you think I have bad intentions or something to that effect, - its fine I really am interested though.
My questions relate to genetics/diet and environment.

What are your ethnicities ? Specifically are you mostly european decent? Ashkenzai Jewish decent?

What was your diet like before using fin? Specifically was it high glycemic, high carb, high sugar, high transfat? What about your diet during your use of fin?

What kind of psychological problems did you suffer from before using fin, if any? Specifically - did you suffer from anxiety/depression?

Did you drink mostly tap or bottled water before using fin? During using fin?
