One of my doctors wants me to try HGC at a dose of 1500IU, 3 times a week for 2 weeks and if that fails, 5000IU at the same dose and for the same amount of time.
Will this cause desensitization of my Leydig cells? From what I know, going over 500IU on any given day is not a good idea.
I have been on 500IU, 3 times a week for 3 weeks with no results whatsoever.
It is HIGHLY likely to result in the development of gynecomastia, significant gynecomastia at 5000IU and it will be HIGHLY likely to result in primary hypogondism at that dose as well if used instead of TRT on an ongoing basis.
Dr Shippen often uses HCG at 100IU a day.
Dr Crisler uses HCG in his TRT protocol at something like 250IU a couple of time a week and states that no more than 500IU should be taken in any one day.
If you want to just go with your doctor and fertility sized doses that are totally inappropriate then that is your call, all I can say at 5000IU is I hope you don’t mind having your own breasts and primary hypogonadism.
In my opinion doctors like this should be struck off such is the damage they can cause.
