My inflamatory markers are throught the fucking roof.
I believe it’s bc our immune system is busy fighting something.
I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis today - an autoimmune condition.
Yeah - and likely the autoimmunity is caused by infection(s) - u should test them
So sorry to hear that. How did they diagnose you? Did you get a full stool test from your doctor to rule out infection?

They diagnosed it using a sigmoidoscopy - essentially a camera up the large intestine. Stool test was conducted prior with no sign of any infection.
