Have you aged in appearance post crash ??

In my experience… post crash I feel like in appearance I have not aged since I crashed. It has been over 6 years and I look exactly the same as I did at 18 (now 24). I always get comments from people that I look 17, especially at bars. However, just prior to the crash…at age 18, I could have passed for 20 or so. It also does not help that I had some muscle wasting.

Now on the other side, on the inside I feel older…like 50s or 60s. This is from someone who had scholarships to play 4 different sports in college and was always extremely active. I do admit that hydrocortisone has helped me feel like Im not 60 to an extent, but I def do not feel like pre-crash.

yes… ive noticed this as well… its like i havent aged since i took it at 19… i think i still much the same… msot people think im 16 or 17 even though i’m 23… but i’m also very skinny so that probably has a big part in it…

I think this is interesting. I’m 27 but I’ve always looked young for my age (I feel it’s due to my half-Asian background). When I crashed, I started to look older, like age (appearance) was finally catching up with me. I developed frown lines and looked run down. However, I feel that as I started to recover with time from most of the sides (especially the mental ones), my youthful appearance has slowly returned.

As you both state, it could have something to do with being thinner. When I crashed, I had the highest body fat percentage I’ve probably ever had - now I’ve burnt all that fat away and it’s probably the lowest it’s been in ten years. I am fortunate enough to have not experienced muscle wastage but have actually put on quite a bit of muscle mass in recent months - and I feel that’s helped overall.

I thought I was crazy but I noticed this too. Haven’t gotten anymore lines on my face, hairline hasnt moved a millimeter since 22.

I feel like i have aged 60 years on the inside thou.

Ha, finasteride… makes you immortal but also makes you wish you were dead…

Lol, exactly.
Me too… same thing. I don’t look my age, people think i am 10 years younger. Hair loss has been very slow, the opposite it was before propecia. On the inside, i feel at least 60 as well.

I always looked young for my age but now I look tired alot and I’ve put on weight and lost alot of muscle so IMO I look older. I havn’t noticed losing too much hair since Fin. Maybe those who appear to not have aged since Fin it’s more a matter of looking more feminine, the arrest of the hair loss, etc.?

Same here, though my hair loss is getting worse lately.
