Has anyone tried Yoga to improve from PFS?

I just read a small article that says yoga can stimulate the thyroid and pituitary. has anyone tried this path?

No.

I haven’t tried, but I think anything that helps relaxation and stress relief would be good for pfs.

I’ve had finasteride effects for a decade, after having taken it for a couple of weeks when I was about 40. For a few years, I became very active in yoga and the whole lifestyle that came with it, including the healthy clean living and eating, and lost 30 pounds I put on after the finasteride.

The effects on my mental well being were very very positive, and erections were much better, at about 75%, with the occasional morning erections returning after specific exercises in the yoga classes from the afternoons and evenings before.

I’m a believer that pfs decreases muscle control of the penis region, and yoga exercises help regain that control, especially as it relates to urination, bladder control and “leakage”.

I used little to no supplements during that healthy yoga period, and really felt pretty normal, but libido was still very low, even though I was often surrounded by extremely attractive and healthy women in those yoga classes.

I also tried the intense Bikram style “hot” yoga. When I was closer to my ideal weight, results seemed good, especially for my mood. When I was heavier, and completed the same classes, I may have felt physically good, but libido and erections were zero, and seems inline with what others have said about some intense, long duration workouts.

I would suggest yoga to everyone, but it must be coupled with a very healthy lifestyle to see effects, which I found very positive in the past. While I have stopped yoga for years due to other injuries, I’ve since tried amino acid supplements that others have mentioned, with good mood and memory effects, and will soon be combining it with Yoga and weight loss.

I would suggest keeping weight and body fat down. For me, a drop in even a couple of pounds has had very positive effects. I’ve lost 10 pounds though intermittent fasting others mentioned, and feel much better. I’m now about 6’ and 195 lbs, and looking to get back to my ideal weight of 170. I was 160 before pfs.

I wonder what the severity is of PFS among those of us who are at ideal body weight, and who exercise and eat well. It’s increasingly more difficult to do, but I suspect absolutely worth it.
