apologies if this question has been asked before.
I’m wondering if anyone here has had a prostate ultrasound and if so was your prostate the right size ?
I looking at the getting a prostate ultrasound but I dont want to waste my money if our issues are not caused by the prostate.
It’s probably a good idea to get one, but even if it comes out abnormal I don’t think there’s much you can do about it, so I don’t know what that would ultimately accomplish.
Interestingly, I had one done years ago, well before my crash due to some prostatitis. At that time it was normal. But now, I’m convinced that my prostate changed dramatically since then- not in a good way either! I still have a weak urinary flow. It’s like that entire gland shrank but what’s left is still constricting the urethra. Nonetheless, I have been meaning to get a new one to compare the two but life has been too busy to take time to do it.
If its not the right size then drugs like arimidex should be able to help get it back to its original size.
