Just want everyone to know that Cassin banned Dr Crisler from hair loss talk without having the decency to put a post on the thread informing all the members who were seeking his counsil.

I and some other member questioned his decision making on this and we were banned.

Hair loss talk promotes the use of finasteride to all and sundry and plays down the potential for side effects.

Cassin is a sad, lowly, cretinous little prick who probably gets paid by Merck to promote their product. The guy and the site is a joke. Do not trust that site for objective information.

I was one of the people banned too.

Fucking hypocrites. Monty, you have to realise we were a thorn in their side.

They’re a finasteride promoting website and guys like you, myself and Dr Crisler were a pain to them. We were a threat to their business. They would prefer a boatload of propecia junkies.

Any forum with a moderator called “propeciajunkie” really what should we expect.

Cassin ADMITTED that the HAVE been sponsored by MERCK in the past.

They are doing this illegally, might I add. Could be worth a little whistle-blowing. Cunts.

They were barely happy enough to put up with the likes of us but when Dr Crisler came on board it gave the whole section (“dealing with side effects”) an added credibiliy. That is when they decided to take action.

They treated the members on there with total disregard, putting their health at risk. Unforgivable behaviour and I hope their get their bad karma tenfold.

Just to exemplify their bad motive. They claim its in the rules that all posters have to be “consumer only”. Clearly the spirit of such a rule is to stop spam and advertising. Fair enough. They used this against Dr C, despite the fact he wasn’t selling a thing. Ironically, they’ve endeared Dr Proctor for years and he DID push his products. It doesn’t take a genius to see what’s going on.

Anyone reckon its worth doing anything?

Outside viewpoints are quickly snuffed out and dismissed as paranoid.

Pushing fin is the real danger, regardless of its manufacturer, and that’s what’s done there.

I must say, they don’t have a high opinion of members of this site either.

It’s no coincidence everyone getting banned has come on the back of the lawsuits breaking - they know the problem is about to go mainstream.

That site is pure disease mongering to sell pills. Before the side effects forum they have a forum to discuss the ‘impact’ of baldness on work, social life etc. Then of course the side effects forum is way down at the bottom and comes with heavy disclaimers, ie the only reputable sources are clinical trials etc.

I have been banned many. many times. Sometimes before I’ve even posted lol. They’re running scared because the truth is coming out.

I had went off it in 2007 but all i ever read on that forum is how people on this forum are crazy and to ignore it. They also downplay all sides - they say ball ache is “perfectly normal” and even things like reduced ejaculate, mild ED, watery semen etc is all acceptable and that “side effects subside”.

Ultimately it was my own decisino but it was definately the users on the board who influenced my decision.

This is a message put up by Cassin that I found dated yesterday!

Whelp…plain as day.

If I could go back to when I started taking FIN knowing what I know now I doubt I would have started taking it. Any of you guys taking fin I strongly urge you to do so under a Dr’s care. Don’t self medicate and diagnose.

I have been going to the Dr for my fin since day 1. I promise you the appoint is short and painless.

Mew I hope you read this. I think it might be fair to delete this thread. I may have jumped the gun.

I have also been told if I email Cassin I can be allowed back. Seen as I am by no means a promoter of finasteride, quite the opposite, and although I was pissed about his way of dealing with things and that Dr Crisler is still banned, I don’t feel this thread is justified.
