Hair loss sites -- reaction to hunger strike

Interesting feedback from the hairlosshelp.com crowd after someone posted the latest Examiner.com hunger strike news story:

  1. They locked the recent news story thread

  2. They are now interested in starting their own “support Propecia” campaign.

They should just shut their mouths and be extremely greatful they don’t have the side effects… yet.

Actually whats funny is that you read through some of their posts and a few of them actually admit to getting side effects but they continue using it anyway. They must be pretty mild side effects but I assume they are probably getting the standard loss of libido, anxiety insomnia issues as those seem to be the most common and mild of the side effects.

Still would you continue taking a drug after even that? Just to keep your hair, man I had been shaving it before I took fina and no women ever complained about me being bald and in fact many told me they liked it.

It takes a very special kind of loser to spend any amount of time posting on hairloss forums. It is not the abode of right-thinking individuals. So dont expect much.

Anyway, these website are part-funded by referrals to people selling hairloss treatments, like Propecia for example.

I am not worried. Let s see how they are doing ten years from now.
There is a guy on a brazilian hairloss forum who on all his post he says wonders about Finasteride and how he has no side effects. When i first started posting there about the risks of Finasteride, he sent me a PM. A few messages later he told me he was on antidepressants, he couldnt ejaculate, had had a major panic attack and was pretty much impotent. I am not saying there arent guys who dont have significant side effects for years on propecia. However there are some who are so fobic about going bald that they are in denial. They simply wont admit Finasteride is the cause of their problems, even if it is obvious.

it ticks me off that they attribute people’s depression to going bald. Just shows they have no clue what true, hormonal/chemical depression is, the kind that finasteride causes.

I suggest that this thread and its links be deleted. It brings nothing to the table. If people want to seek out negativity, its easily found. There is too much ignorance and disrespect going on on those links to have any place on this forum.

I agree Lincoln. I don’t give a fuck what they say.

And yes, the local media did cover the story.

In my opinion, those guys are just scared and angry that their “precious wonder drug” may be taken off of the market, and it makes them angry towards us, because they simply cannot appreciate the awful situation we are in. They are still so terrified of shedding hairs, they are blind to all of the medical science and facts of our situation. Personally I could care less what they think. They cannot help us to get better.

Great news. Which channel/affilate?
