Evening guys,

What happened to us spreading the word on hair loss boards? i have been chipping in quite a bit over on two of the best known forums recently. I know it isn’t great media awareness and i am likely to have more time on my hands than most but given the amount of visitors these sites get and the amount of hits that each thread gets it’s still worth keeping up in my opinion.

I dig up the youtube videos and some of the most alarming articles from the studies section to get people thinking about finasteride.

I post against it any time it is brought up on bodybuilding.com … same with accutane. You just dont get through to them though, they literally cannot comprehend what having the sides are actually like and of coarse every body thinks it could never happen to them. I have messeged back and forth with about 10 or more guys at BB.com who said they developed bad sides. It seems like all of them mentioned that after a few months to a year their sides dissapeared.

The guys on HL boards are in such denial about finasteride side effects. They will admit that after using the drug they are having sexual problems and say something like ‘i can’t say it was the finasteride - i am very stressed’ etc.

I just gave up spreading the word let them find out the hardway like we all did,they will be here one day and we will have more strength theres more strngth in numbers lol…

I don’t think this is an LOL situation. Men are losing their sexual lives, personalities, physical appearance, cognitive abilities, and sometimes their lives to finasteride. This chemical simply shouldn’t be available for cosmetic use.

There’s some right scum bags on those board who are blatant merck shills and pop up whenever someone defames their precious drug. The worst is this guy Decade Two, whose raison d’etre on Hair Loss Help is to bullshit guys into thinking this is all psychological and we are demented.

That said, the consensus on finasteride has definitely swung towards the negative.

i recently try to tell them finasteride is a transgenderization drug. i think they are affected that way…
