Guys, I don´t understand you, I really don´t. Let me tell you about me. I´m a relatively young guy, early 30´s, who has been balding for a couple of years now. I tried a few things on my scalp with poor results before turning to Propecia for a few weeks. I talked about it to a bald friend of mine and I was deeply surprised on how shocked he was I was taking this shit. He explained me that Propecia has destroyed the lives of many men around the world, ripping off their health and their maleness. At first I was in total disbelief of his words, but after a close look at this website and a brief email exchange with a Propecia side effects sufferer I dropped taking this shit for good with no noticeable side effects on my health. Fuck my hair, I just need my health.

My friend saved my life, but he couldn´t save his. The poor man has been having sides for up to five years now and he is convinced he was screwed for life. Now is a sad, lonely guy who lives a miserable existence…

I just can´t believe this shit is happening to so many guys around the world… I mean, if this would happen to one or two suckers then is bad luck, but so many lives destroyed for such a ridiculous reason (some hair in the scalp) really is beyond my understanding. Even worst, I see that Merck is in denial of this situation and is obvious that they only care about the money, they just want to sell their shit and get some profit and if that means destroying the lives of so many young men, so be it…. I can´t fathom such evil in a pharmaceutical company who is supposed to look after the health of its customers…

I have been reading this website for about four weeks and my question for you is: how can you allow this shit to happen? What have you done to prevent more lives are lost? Are you suing the company? Have you tried to take make this case public? All I read here is a bunch of guys desperately trying to get their lives back with no result whatsoever…. My friend told me that all of you are fucked up for life and that means not only a poor health and no sex. That also means no family, no wife, no kids, a lonely and miserable existence… That is what I meant with my initial sentence: I don´t understand you!!! If some bastard takes my dick off, I would KILL the fucker, for sure… How come so many of you have been chemically castrated and you haven´t [censored] on Merck??? You know where they are and who they are… why not take it against them??? WHY??? You have noting to lose, YOU ALREADY LOST EVERYTHING!!!

A lot of progress is being made. Not only do I have personal confirmation that the condition can be reversed, but we have a handful of good doctors on our side, we have media reporting our cases, and it seems with every passing day Merck digs itself into a deeper and deeper hole of lies to pin them on.

These types of posts in my opinion are simply designed to stir up raw emotion, debate and troll users.

What do you think we’ve been doing this entire time, sitting here twiddling our thumbs? The tone of your post is completely ridiculous – “How can WE allow this to happen”… blaming us like it’s our fault the drug fucked us up and is continuing to mess up other guys? More like… how can MERCK allow this to happen!

Your post just reeks of arrogance, uneducated narrowminded-ness and ungratefulness. It seems to me you are simply trolling for a reaction.

FYI, the foundation of this website is a major achievement in generating social awareness, not to mention the continous stream of medical and media awareness that is starting to be generated as a result of efforts from men affected by this drug worldwide. Regarding other initiatives, not everything is discussed publically, but clearly you have not been keeping up to date with the latest news on Propecia, BBC news reports, Dr. Irwig’s study, Dr. Jacobs’ blog posts etc. Go read up before blathering on without anything to back up your statements.

Well then, now you understand the seriousness of this problem, don’t you? So what’s your point? Be glad you have escaped this fate rather than coming here to rub it in our faces.

Spoken like a truly uneducated fool. The only way someone affected by this drug will make a dent in Merck is with a lawsuit, preferably a class action. On that note, let’s see what the future brings.

I have side with Mew on this one. While I do think you mean well with your post, you appear to be ignorant to the processes of initiating a class action lawsuit against a large US based pharmaceutical company.

There is a protocol and processes involved with getting a drug removed from the market and intiating a lawsuit. That involves proving the drug the drug does more harm than Merck initially claimed it does. That means potentially years of clinical studies that veryify the damage this drug can cause. It just doesn’t simply happen because you have an emotional reaction or feel anger against this evil company.

Then if we are lucky, we will have some interest from Class Action Attorneys. It would likely take years of work by attorneys to get case to end up in court. Again if the stars are all aligned and we were to win such a case, they would appeal it and that would add years to the process as well.

The bottom line is the majority of us are focused on getting our health back. The lawsuit will likely happen some day, very far off in the future. No amount of money will substitute getting our health back.

Well, I can’t add much to that. Believe me, everyone here fully understands misery. As said above, we are working on this problem. Remember it is us against Merck. None of us are pleased with our situation but theats of violence are counter productive to what we are trying to accomplish.
